Description & Indications
• Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever): Relieves acute symptoms triggered by outdoor environmental allergens like pollen or grass. It reduces sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, and nasal congestion. • Perennial Allergic Rhinitis: Manages year-round nasal allergy symptoms caused by indoor allergens, including dust mites, indoor mold, and pet dander. • Allergic Rhinitis with Co-existing Asthma: Indicated for patients who suffer from respiratory allergies alongside mild to moderate asthma. While it helps control airway swelling, it must not be used as a rescue medication for acute asthma attacks. • Chronic Urticaria (Hives): Sometimes prescribed off-label or secondary to manage chronic skin allergies characterized by persistent itchy rashes and hives.
